To
load your pepper mill:
- Remove the top knurled knob by turning counter-clockwise
- Remove the pepper mill top by pulling it STRAIGHT
off the driveshaft
- Fill the pepper mill body with pepper corns (do
not overfill)
- Replace pepper mill top by slipping it over the
driveshaft until it seats on the body of the pepper
mill
- Screw the knurled knob back onto the threaded
portion of the driveshaft that is exposed through
the hole in the top of the pepper mill
- Relative coarseness and fineness of the ground
pepper is determined by how tightly the knurled
knob is screwed on to the pepper mill (tight = fine
& loose = coarse)
- Operate the pepper mill by turning the pepper
mill top in a clockwise direction ONLY
- This pepper mill uses a stainless steel grinding
mechanism and is to be used SOLEY for grinding pepper.
DO NOT USE FOR SALT. Any pepper mill can be converted
for use with SALT by the installation of a mechanism
specifically designed for salt. All mills offered
on this site are PEPPER MILLS. We can convert any
pepper mill for use with SALT upon request for an
additional $5.
Caring for your pepper mill:
- Do not expose to heat
- Wipe with a damp cloth
- Store in a dry place
- Do not put in dishwasher
- The exterior can be restored with an occasional
application of fine furniture polish or wax
